According to a new report by the Nurses Service Organization, there has been a significant increase in malpractice claims against nurses in recent years.

According to the CDC, there were 18.4 million people with asthma in the United States in 2015 – this means 7.6% of adults in the country had asthma. The same year, 6.2 million or 8.4% of children in the US had asthma. In 2013, there were 1.6 million visits to emergency departments in US hospitals with asthma as the primary diagnosis.

According to statistics, of every 1,000 births each year in the United States, 7 involve birth injuries. About 28,000 birth injuries occur each year, 2,333 each month and 538 each week in the US. This means that there are 76 birth injuries per day, or 3 per hour.
